Mole was medium brown and raised. Now it's sore to touch and a little red with a chunk missing. It doesn't itch and it hasn't changed shape but I'm worried so can someone please help!

Laser or shave dessiccation are both good options and can be performed by a dermatologist. Excision is the next best but can leave bigger scarring and can be done by either plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.
Actually it looks relatively normal but shave biopsies from the lower back often look like this and take a long time to heal...probably will be another 3 weeks till the wound closes...good luck
Please see a cosmetic dermatologist to give you proper post burn skin care and sun protection to prevent scarring and hyperpigmentation. It is likely you will need fractional laser or radiofrequency and/or microneedling in 3-6 weeks to improve the apperance more quickly. Best, Dr. Emer.
