Unfortunately I have a small jawline with high angles, and want to know if it's possible to make the sides of my jawline appear wider with only a chin implant? I know that jaw implants would probably help the most, but I'm reluctant to get them due to the cost and complexity of the surgery. Thank you.

Answer: Jaw Widening No standard form of a chin implant can make the jawline wider. In an effort to circumvent what you really need (true jaw angle implants), you can have a custom chin implant that will make some of the jawline wider as it extends back along the jawline.

Answer: Widen jaw monkeybutt8, Thanks for your question and picture. Your chin seems to be a good size (though I usually judge these based on the lateral view photographs), and if your concern is with your angle of the mandible, then implants and fillers can be used to treat this. Personally, I do not favor jaw implants here because of complications, and would discuss fillers based on your physical exam. Good luck!
