Try to massage the lumpy area of scar tissue each day, by pinching it between your fingers. This may help the firmness.Go back to see the doc that left the suture behind, so it can be removed.
Mouth narrowing can be done by lateral commissurotomies along with lip reductions. However, this will result in some slight scarring that extends out from the corner of the mouth.
