this happened 17 days ago, should i wait more so the lip would heal itself or would it be like this for ever
Answer: I had a fight and someone punched me on my upper lip, right now I can notice that my lip is Asymmetric when I smile? It's not permanent. It will heal. Facial swelling can take a long time (we tell patients 6 months after trauma or surgery). Don't get fillers to correct something that is going to get better by itself.

Answer: Lip changed by fighting First, stop fighting, give peace a chance ;). Seriously though, usually there is bruising and swelling and this can sometimes last out to 1 month, so be patient. If any asymmetry remains after that, then best to speak with your dermatologist about ways to correct the asymmetry, typically involving fillers like juvederm or restylane.
