If you're already scheduled for surgery- then why are you asking  these questions online? These questions should have been addressed at your pre-op appointment. I suggest that you contact your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon's office and go over the surgical plan, pre-op and post-op instructions

HI,From your photo it appears that you have a large roll of tissue to be removed. My first and most important statement to you is that these questions should be asked of your surgeon. If you are scheduled for surgery then you need to get all of your answers from the person performing the procedure! Anything you get from us will be less precise because we have not examined you in person and we are not the ones doing the surgery. For instance I don't know if you are getting just liposuction or liposuction as well as excision. Without an operative plan, I can't give you a good answer. So, in summary, I encourage you to contact your doctor's office and talk to the nurse or the doctor and make sure that all of your questions are answered before you proceed with the operation.Regards,Daniel A.
