I am scheduled for bra roll fat excision and I was wondering if anyone can give me any information on the procedure? Example pain if you can use your arms? How you sleep? Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi - thank you for your question. I generally don't advise my patients to do this at all after these procedures. I find that they don't enhance the results, but they are uncomfortable and expensive.

It is likely that you will end up with loose skin after liposuction removes the fat from your arms. To have the fat removed and skin tightened would be better treated by an arm lift, however, the trade off will be a long scar. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

2 weeks post op lipo and belly ring barely goes through now. Is the piercing still there?

It is possible your piercing is still there but you may still have a lot of swelling. It may take up to 6 months for all of the swelling to resolve. Ta;l to your surgeon about your piercing, it may have been compromised during liposuction and you may need to get it re-pierced. Good luck.
