What can I do to stop my facial hair due to overuse of Minoxidil?

I'm a 19 yo girl diagnosed with Androgenetic alopecia and i've lost half my hair. 3 months ago I started applying minox2% 2x/ day. But I was too excited to see results so I applied too much of it around a bottle (60ml)/3weeks The problem is that now hair is growing all over my face and my neck and it's horrifying me. What should I do? Can I wax it or will it aggravate the situation? Is there something that I can do to stop it? I don't wanna stop using minox because I can't stand losing more hair

Stopping Minoxidil will likely stop the hair growth and return the areas to their pre Minoxidil state.
You can wax, but this will be an ongoing battle. You can also try permanent laser hair reduction.
I recommend you find a good Integrative Medicine or Functional Medicine physician that practices Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). They will help adjust your hormones so that DHT (the likely culprit), is pushed down as beneficial hormones are pushed up and normalized. They'll have a few other hair saving tricks as well.
The process will take some time. Therefore, I recommend also obtaining PRP hair regeneration therapy. This will help fortify the hair follicles and thus your existing hair as well as help recover what you have lost.

The best way is to stop the use of Minoxidil. After stopping use you will return to the way you were before starting.

Minoxidil when absorbed through the skin will produce body hair and facial hair as a known side effect. Either reduce the dose or stop the medication to reverse the facial hair growth
