I'm a 19 yo girl diagnosed with Androgenetic alopecia and i've lost half my hair. 3 months ago I started applying minox2% 2x/ day. But I was too excited to see results so I applied too much of it around a bottle (60ml)/3weeks The problem is that now hair is growing all over my face and my neck and it's horrifying me. What should I do? Can I wax it or will it aggravate the situation? Is there something that I can do to stop it? I don't wanna stop using minox because I can't stand losing more hair

Initially, 2% Minoxidil was the only strength for women. It's use was twice daily. Now the 5% strength is FDA approved for women, but only once daily. If you are having good results there is no need to change.
Like many medications, topical finasteride is available with a prescription from a physician. Your physician will review your story, examine your scalp up close and determine if you are an appropriate candidate for this medication or not.
I recommend you get a baseline PSA with your urologist before starting Finasteride. Make sure you follow up with your urologist. Finasteride can also cause sexual side effects. Always seek treatment from a qualified physician.
