Hello, I'm a male in my early 30s suffering with the scarring alopecia - lichen planopilaris (LPP), for at leat 2 years now. I find this condition VERY distressing for me, however as a man I would not mind being totally bald. Is there any way to PERMANENTLY remove ALL remainig hair from the scalp so that the inflammation has nothing more to attack? Treatments, doctor appointments, hair pieces etc. everything is expensive. Wouldn't this kind of procedure be the best option? If not possible, why?
