When I first woke up from surgery I ate some cookies, sandwiches and had lots of tea which tasted a little duller than usual but not so bad. Now five days after surgery I can't eat anything because it all tastes really gone off and putrid to the point where it makes me gag to eat. I can't even go into my kitchen because the faintest smell of food smells so evil it makes me feel sick. I know dull taste must be normal but everything smells and tastes so, so bad. What do I do? :(

After a nasal bump is removed, the nasal appearance nearly always widens. If your surgeon adequately infractured your nasal sidewalls on both sides with osteotomies, your nasal appearance should narrow as swelling reduces. Best to see your surgeon for reassurance. Wishing you well moving forward...
Elevating a low bridge of the nose can often make eyes that seemed too far apart more harmonious. In cases of Asians with epicanthal folds, they may be reduced or eliminated from this manouevre. In any event it is too early to judge your result so stay close to your surgeon and be patient
