How long shall I wait to have my septoplasty or rhinoplasty if I stopped my Accutane treatment now?

Since Accutane can affect post operative healing and scarring, most doctors recommend stopping  Accutane and waiting for 6 to 12 months prior to undergoing cosmetic surgery, or non-essential elective surgery, such as septoplasty.  But the science is not clear, and wait intervals are suggestions only.  Good luck !
