I would suggest starting with 1 syringe (1ml) of filler in the under eyes (1/2ml per side). I would then suggest reassessing in 2-3 weeks, and at that point more could be added. I don't think yours is deep enough to warrant more, and certainly I wouldn't do more for a 1st timer. With fillers, especially in the tear trough, less is more, and you can always add more if you need to. More importantly, find an expert physician injector who has years of training and experience to treat such a delicate area to optimize results and minimize side effects.
When treating the undereyes/tear troughs, I prefer to use hyaluronic acid based fillers like Restylane. I start with 1 syringe (1 mL) and then add more at followup as needed.
Hi,Typically I use between 1-2 cc of restylane to treat the tear trough area. An in person exam is important; also, under eye filler is not always the best treatment to treat "dark circles." I recommend seeing an injection specialist to discuss your options.Best,Mehdi Sina, MD
With the correct product and technique you need very little product to treat the under eye area. Yours are mild and would only need 0.1-0.2ml each side. Some products only come in 1ml but do not compromise on the quality of the product just because the 0.5ml is not available. I choose Aliaxin SR which is a dedicated under eye dermal filler. Also ensure your practitioner uses a cannula technique.
Hi @jrooks! You can help smoothen out these folds by getting dermal filler into the piriform fossa and the nasolabial fold. I typically use Restylane Defyne or Refyne to treat this area. Best of luck to you!

Hello, Nose to mouth and mouth to jaw (Marionette) lines can start forming early on and develop into deep lines making the face look like it is sagging and form jowls lower down the face. With dermal fillers, you can reduce these lines significantly giving you a smoother, lifted look. All the...
I use a very thin filler like Belotero for the deep frown lines. You have to make sure to get an expert injector as injecting the area carry certain risks. There are blood vessels underneath the forehead lines and if the filler was placed in the wrong area...
Thank you for your question. You state you had under eye filler done which was stated to last 12 months, but it only lasted 2. You are asking if going to the gym several times a week can cause this. I can certainly guide you with this. I’m Dr. Amiya Prasad. I’m a Board Certified Cosmetic Sur...
Yes, filler can achieve lifting in the eyebrow ridge. It is important to know the anatomy and the type of the filler for this area. Voluma is my personal preferred filler. This area requires skilled technique so it is important to have an evaluation by an experienced injector. Best, J...
