Hi! Would Laser, IPL other other treatment be best to tighten and rejuvenate the skin on my neck and décolleté? It has a rough texture that I'd love to even out. Thank you in advance for any advice!

Answer: Morpheus Hi and thank you for your question. Although Morpheus is not a laser; it is a great skin tightening treatment. Morpheus is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin, in doing so the tissue of the skin can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance. I would consult with a provider to come up with a treatment plan that works for you.

Answer: HA Fillers Can Work Well For A "Nonsurgical Necklift" Additional photos, particularly profile views of the neck and front views of the submental region would have been helpful. However, the skillful and appropriate use of a robust HA filler placed in the neck to the sides of the central laxity can provide a lift that can tighten the central area. Additionally, the use of another more cohesive HA filler with low viscosity injected centrally as boluses in a grid pattern can further improve and tighten this region. I have personally been using this nonsurgical necklift approach for many years with gratifying results. Both procedures in experienced hands can be performed in about fifteen minutes with results that are typically immediate and elicit a "Wow!" response. It would also be prudent to exercise a great deal of "buyer beware" caution when being offered, as you will no doubt be, the so-called "next big thing," expensive, "bells and whistles" fraxel laser, RF or ultrasound devices whose hard science to support their use lags woefully behind the heavy marketing to promote them. You would be wise to consult with an experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.
