At this point in your recovery, the fat layer usually feels firm and rubbery and the skin layer resists your twisting and bending movements. As the last bit of swelling leaves the fat layer, it will soften up and feel like normal fat. And then the skin will slide easily over the fat, without a feeling of resistance or stretching.

Numbness after liposuction is very common. Some nerves are damaged due to the cannula being repeatedly moved around the surgical site. This numbness usually resolves within 6 weeks to 6 months; however, it is always a good idea to inform your surgeon of this numbness.Best Regards,
In my own practice patients may return to any activity when they feel up to it after liposuction. However, this is a question that should be asked of your own surgeon.

The axillary (armpit) fat can actually be breast glad. I would recommend that you see your doctor and have a thorough consultation and make sure that the underarm swelling is fully diagnosed.
