I had a mucocele removed from my lower lip under local anesthesia about five years ago. It left my bottom lip asymmetrical with one side looking slightly deflated, and there is a small lump of scar tissue. It is quite noticeable in photos -- upsetting because my lips used to be my favorite feature. I am worried that the scar tissue will interfere with the filler being distributed evenly.. does this ever happen?
