How long do I have to wait to have a breast reduction after a BBL? How long do I have to wait to have a breast reduction after bbl? I'm having bbl June 12, when can I get a breast reduction? I'm getting married September 30 and would like to have it done the end of July, would that be okay?Great Question!!The Medical board in the state of Florida has a very defined requirements to maintain a physician license. For an elective in office procedure, the board restricts liposuction to one liter of supernatant fat removed form your body if you combine liposuction with a breast reduction. Usually, one liter of fat is not enough of a volume change to make a great BBL result. In the state of Florida, I would recommend you have the BBL first followed by a second procedure with a breast reduction if you want a big dramatic buttock volume change. Due to the large surface area involved with 360 lipo and the large amount of energy required to heal, I would suggest a good 3-6 months for the reduction. If one liter is ok with your expected BBL result then you could combine the procedure together at same anesthesia session. I recommend you have an in person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon that you feel comfortable with. Please seek a plastic surgeon certified by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association. I would check for hospital privelages with peer review quality monitoring systems in place. Review their online results, patient testimonials, patient performance reviews, seek a surgeon who has done tens of thousands of BBL procedures and who specializes in the aesthetic surgery 100% of time.
