I tell my patients that they should not engage in any strenuous activity for six weeks following a BBL.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
THank you for your concern. Most fat loss should happen in the first 4-6 weeks. So I'm pretty sure 11 weeks out you should be ok. The fat put in has to become vascularized fairly quickly or it will die. That typically happens in the first week. Just check with your surgeon and try to follow their post operative regimen. Best of luck.
Given that you're 11 weeks postop, you should experience no volume loss or loss of fat cells because of the night's activities. Hope this helps - Sam Jejurikar, MD
By 11 weeks, if you have healed without complications, you should be well on your way in your recovery to really do almost any activity that you were able to do before surgery.

Thank you for your question. At our practice we tell patients they have no restriction after 6 week. The activities you do after the 6 week mark does not affect the final take
Fat volume loss occurs for 3-6 months after the surgery, but at 11 weeks the ongoing loss is not affected by your activity.

Typically for my patients, I don’t have them sit for two weeks. I then have them sit on a “donut” (soft round pillow) for another month or so. It is best to try not to place pressure on the recipient area to try to get as much fat to survive as possible. For bruising, it usually subsides after ...
That may be related to swelling and the garment. Best to review with your surgeon. Good luck.........
