How does Caffeine affect Sclerotherapy?

I had Sclerotherapy on the side of my forehead/Temple area last week. The care sheet that was sent home with me said no caffeine for a week. I was wondering why and how caffeine could negatively affect the treatment. I ask because I have never seen this or heard of it before. Thank you in advance for any info!

Telangiectasia, also known as spider veins, are small, dilated blood vessels that can appear on the skin. There are multiple effective treatments. They include Vein Gogh, IPL , Sclerotherapy, and Lasers . The easier for a signle vein would be Vein Gogh which is RF electrocautery.

Thank you for your question. I would look for a Board Certified Dermatologist or Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area and find who has a Vbeam Perfecta to treat the veins with. This will address the veins and the return rate is lower than with IPL. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. The pitting may just be the result of the vein collapsing, and this will fill in over 3-6 months. We see this on noses where veins are removed, and a temporary indentation is gradually filled in. I hope this helps!
