How can I improve visible veins on temples and under eyes?

Under eye veins can vary in caliber and length, ranging from bluish varicose veins to light red spider veins. The treatment of larger varicose veins is very specialized and I have demonstrated my technique on the Doctors television show which can be found online. Treatment includes surgical removal with initiation of a skin brightening regimen to optimize skin thickness and collagen content. 
Associated dark pigmentation on the lower eyelid skin can be due to melasma, bluish veins, hemosiderin deposits, and hyperpigmentation.  
Topical regimens include:

4.Melapads
5.Replenish Retinoid Cream
Additional therapies for undereye rejuvenation include fractional laser, fractional RF, Covalent peels, and LED microneedling with Replenish serum. The video demonstrates an analysis of varicose veins.

Dooflenose, thank you for your question. Retinoid thins the skin. In your case,
it has thinned your skin around infra orbital region. If the thinning skin and
orbitals veins bother you, the best thing to do is to stop the use of the
retinoid. There are other medications that are used to treat acne that can be
prescribed on an individual basis. Patients need to be physically examined
before other treatments can be recommended. If injectables are not an option,
you may also look into laser treatments.

If visibility of veins is your only concern, you may want to explore the possibility of a vein tyreatment with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and keep the possibility of a filler in the mix. Retinol is a good product so continue this and explore the other options. I hope this helps!

In regards to the veins under the eyes I use a microphlebectomy technique if there is a bulge and sclerotherapy if they are small - I have had great outcomes with this approach.To watch a vide of the microphlebectomy technique as it was shown on The Doctors TV Show watch it below provided on the link. 

There are multiple options for eye vein treatment including laser, IPL, VeinWave, VeinGogh, fine needle radio frequency, sclerotherapy and combination of the above.  Sometimes surgical removal can be done.  What is best for you can be determined by someone skilled in treating veins in this area.
