Am I a candidate for the crescent/mini nipple lift? (Photo)

A crescent lift is a procedure that achieves nothing but elongated and odd shaped areola. Neither it nor the next biggest lift, the donut/Benelli/circumareolar lift, will correct your waterfall deformity. Your breasts are big, and your nipple position is only part of the problem. Your surgeon is correct, you need a formal mastopexy. Do nothing or do it right.

Based on your photos, it looks that your implants are in good, symmetric position. Providing that you do not have any other reason for implant exchange (capsular contracture, size) breast lift can be performed without interference with implant. Considering amount of lift that you need, vertical (lollipop) lift would be my option of choice. Good luck.

You are a candidate for a crescent lift, without touching your implants, if you will be happy with your nipples raised about one inch- that's about the limit of the lifting power of a crescent lift!

If you are happy with the size of your implants then they do not have to be changed. If you are unhappy with the nipple-areola complex then I recommend a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.

Don’t waste your time with a crescent lift. It only lifts the nipple half an inch and sometimes not even that. The other problem is that often the areola stretched out. You need either a lollipop or anchor type lift. You would probably need to downsize the implants as well. You are better off having no surgery than the crescent or donut

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

The crescent lift will not give you what you want and will probably make your areolae too wide and unusually shaped. With your large implants, you are starting to bottom out and would need a full lift, plus go somewhat smaller. Otherwise, just keep what you have.
