In person exam is essential, as well as knowing other history and physical details. Your left nipple is lower than the right and this will persist post Breast Augmentation The implants may only raise the nipples by approximately 1 cmI suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS and review your options in detail
Thanks for your question! You are a bit of a challenge, and I can't make an exact recommendation from photos alone. That being said, if you want closer cleavage, a lift will likely be indicated (especially for the droopier side). Please be sure to consult with board-certified and qualified surgeons prior to moving forward with surgery. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Looking at the photos you have provided I would recommend a breast augmentation with a silicone gel implant placed under the muscle and breast lift. This will allow your surgeon to enhance the size of the breast, create upper pole firmness and lift the breast back to where they are supposed to be. I would recommend making an in person evaluation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. This is the age-old question. Here is the honest answer.....you are going to get a much better result with doing a lift at the same time. That being said, if you want to avoid the lift and are ok with accepting some things as "less than perfect" to avoid the lift, it is possible. First, you are going to need to choose a larger implant size to completely fill out the skin envelope. You can discuss with your plastic surgeon what that would be, but you need to understand that will a larger implant, your final result is going to be a much larger cup size and if you do not want to end up that large, then this is a bad choice. Next, you are going to have to accept that no implant, no matter how large, truly "lifts" the nipple. What it can do is that by expanding the skin outward, more of the skin below the nipple gets exposed or shown, the more center the nipple appears on the breast mound, thus giving the appearance of nipple elevation. And lastly, you are going to have to accept that a larger implant in an already stretched out skin envelope is going to result in additional stretching of the skin over time and you are going to be prone to earlier revision surgery to maintain results. In other words, you may avoid the lift temporarily, but over time it will catch up with you.Hope this helps!Dallas Buchanan, MDVIVIFY plastic surgeryTampa, FL
Large implants do not raise breasts or change the cleavage. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They then get to choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Dear nkskalina, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast revision surgery and complex breast issues. Your anatomy dictates that you definitely will need a lift. I have seen this scenario to many times in my career in which someone does not want to have a lift, and their breasts are already drooping. Placing a larger implant will cause your breast to be larger and droop more. It's simple physics. You are an excellent candidate for breast augmentation and breast lifting. Best wishes to you.
Hello, thanks for your question. Breast implants make what you have larger but it won't change your natural cleavage. Of course speak to your plastic surgeon about size and your concerns. Feel free to check out our website for breast and cleavage before and afters.
Your pictures do help, but your request to obtain your desired results requires further exploration. What are your desired results? You certainly have some breast ptosis, and the most attractive breast would require some version of a lift at the time of an augmentation.Having said that, some patients would be content with larger, but still dripping breasts. An in person consultation would be quite valuable to fully ascertain your options and desires. That is really the only way to properly plan.Good luck
It does appear that your implants are bottoming out, creating an extra long nipple to inframammary fold distance. This leads to the incision and nipple both riding up, while the implant is riding down toward the abdomen. The inframammary fold should therefore be restabilized and secured to...
If you are a D to DD, you have plenty of breast tissue and may just want to do a lift. If you go larger, you will be heavier and might sag again.
