I would also like to do my legs. I run 15+ miles per week, and have always exercised heavily. However, my thighs, knees, butt, and calves just do not shrink. I am 5 foot 2 and 112 lbs. My calves are the thing that I would like more than anything to make smaller, I just don't know what procedure is possible. I have attached pictures. You can see that I have no shape to them, cankles, and that one is larger than the other. A large part of it is muscle, but I can grab and pinch fat. Can this be helped?
Answer: Gorgeous legs
Your pictures are really good and show a subtle asymmetry and generally nice legs. I would recommend you continue to keep fit and enjoy them. If you are really motivated, I recommend you look carefully at what is possible with your legs. As a runner, there will be muscle present and this will shape your leg regardless of the amount of fat. Some patients have a longer soleus muscle, deeper and extending further down toward the ankle than the gastrocs, the muscle we all think should give our leg shape. If you accept that the small amount of fat can be removed in a limited fashion and realize your leg may be shaped underneath by your own muscle shape, prepare to search for a Plastic Surgeon Board Certified in Plastic Surgery with experience in this area. This is not a common location for liposuction and yours has a narrow margin for success.

Answer: Calves and ankles do great with micro cannula liposculpture.
There is no doubt that you can get more refined calves and ankles with the micro canula liposculpting under local anesthesia. You appear to be a good candidate but there are very few of us lipo docs who can do what you need done. Expect to pay roughly $4500-5000 on special for quality work. Sincerely,
David Hansen,MD

Answer: I Have Large Calves That Are Disproportionate to the Rest of my Body, Would a Lipo Procedure Work?
First, as a bodybuilder myself, your physique is quite good, and you are being far too hard on yourself. I would not liposuction your calves unless there is at least 2 cm of pinch. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Only at a consultation can your question be answered. Based only on these photos, I suspect most of the calf volume is muscle, and that liposuction is not likely to decrease the size enough to notice, but this is a 3D question being answered with 2D info!
All the best.
