Hi! I had a flesh colored mole removed from the crease of my nose that I've had since I was about 6 yrs old(I'm 26 now). The surgeon used a scalpel and performed a deep excision. I had 3 stitches sewed in. I'm now on day 4 of recovery and I noticed their is a little bump where the mole used to be. It's a bit hard and still a little sore.

Thank you for your question.  Unfortunately without a photograph it is difficult to make a definite recommendation but in most cases of closing an incision the skin edges are everted or puckered.  This tends to flatten with time as healing progresses.  Hope this helps.
