I have a 1MHZ ultrasound machine I don't have access to go to a professional so this is my only hope. :( for how long and what mode should I use it? On low , medium or high? Thanks in advance!!
Answer: Ultrasound after Vaser Hi, these #lumps and irregularities along the suctioned area is common as you heal, but massaging those areas will hasten their softening and they will eventually decrease with time. #Recovery varies greatly between patients. Please be patient as improvement of #results will continue for 4–6 months as #swelling and irregularities resolve. These contours can even improve throughout the year after surgery. It is best to consult your surgeon first before adding any additional aftercare to the ones prescribed to ensure that this procedure won't interfere with healing. You may also want to try non surgical devices such as #ThermiSmooth radiofrequency and #VelaShape3 (visit web reference below for more information) to help tighten skin after liposuction for patients who will benefit from this additional care. You may do these procedures in conjunction with other aftercare prescribed by your surgeon. Please remember circumferential pressure (garment) is recommended for 4-6 weeks then you may change to exercise garment such as Lycra or Spandex beyond that time framel. Rest and treat your incisions well. Best of luck! #RealSelf100

Answer: Would an at-home ultrasound machine help with lumps and bumps 3 months post vaser lipo? I can not recommend self treatments! Best to find the closest PS or center that offers ultrasound external therapy...

Answer: Treatment of uneven areas after liposuction In order to recommend a treatment plan, an underlying diagnosis needs to be made first.Lumpiness after liposuction can be caused by different factors. In the early phases after liposuction, patients often experience firmness and lumpiness from inflammation and early scar tissue.Over time, the areas soften, and more even contours develop Lumpiness can also be seen from unevenly performed liposuction. Patients who have skin laxity are at a slightly higher risk of having this develop. Lumpiness and uneven contours that are the result of swelling inflammation in early scar tissue will resolve without the need for intervention. When lumpiness is the result of uneven liposuction, patients need revision surgery.Ultrasound will most likely not treat either one of these successfully. I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon to see what he or she recommends. The most important factor is to understand the underlying cause of the problem.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
