I have done with my co2 resurfaceing laser treatment for 3 sittings up till now but no results seen.. im very worried what shall i do now?
Answer: Subcision as well as adding a small amount of filler can help reduce appearance of this scar. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: CO2 resurfacing for scars Thank you for your question iqra_anns. I am sorry to hear about your situation. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an outstanding treatment that can address multiple aspects of aging in a single treatment. It can also address acne scars and pox scars. Initial results are seen as early as one month after the treatment. Full results are seen three to six months after the treatment. And most people see continued improvement for 6-12 months after the treatment. Therefore patience is important. For my patients undergoing multiple treatments I often increase the settings if there were no problems after the previous treatment. Full surface (non-fractional) treatment of the edges of large crater-shaped scars also provide benefit. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations.

Answer: CO2 Laser Dear Iqra Thank you for your question and picture. Unfortunately chickenpox scars that are sharply defined and have a white base do not respond to CO2. The only option is surgery. If they have an intact skin surface and the base is not white there are things you can do. Kind Regards Dr Dinesh Maini Zenith Cosmetic Clinics

Answer: Laser and fillers for chicken pox scars. This really is a very very easy solution - I subcise and fill at the same time. Possibly laser for further improvement. Everything is explained in the video below. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
