How often should you get juvederm on your laugh lines?

Juvederm can last up to a year for the laugh lines but there is no real limit to how frequent you can have it done; if it doesn't seem to be lasting at least 4-6 months you might want to consider the newer generation of Juvederm fillers - - Volbella and Vollure.Hope that helps and best wishes, Dr. Donath

Thank you for your question.  How often you would need to have your nasal labial folds (laugh lines) injected depends on if you are using Juvederm Ultra Plus (about 1 1/2 years) or Juvederm Ultra (about 6-9 months), the depth of your lines, and how expressive you are.  If you are very expressive you may need to inject more often as movement tends to break the filler down quicker.  Make sure you schedule your consult with an injector that will take the time to examine your face, listen to your concerns, and provide multiple treatment options. 

Juvederm lasts approx 12 months, so half is out in approx 6 months depending on the person and the metabolism of the product so most patient add more filler or juvederm every 6-8 months so that it never goes completely away.  Follow up with your injectionist in approx 6 months after recieving Juvederm and they can come up with a plan for you and can make recommendations.
