Question

2 years ago I was diagnosed with seb derm and and what my doctor, in his words, only could assume was Androgenic Alopecia and telogen effluvium, my scalp condition has died down but my hairloss never recovered and has only continued to worsen after 2 years on both Finasteride and Minoxidil, I am at my wits end, I’m incredibly depressed, stressed and anxious. I’m wondering if it’s even worth staying on the meds. Should I get a biopsy/blood test? please help.

You need a formal evaluation to see what type of hair loss you may have. when you have hairless its best to do a full hormonal workup for internal optimization plus scalp biopsies or scrapings to rule out any stress related, inflammatory, autoimmune or infectious causes of hair loss.
