Hands-down best experience with this doctor and his team at Stop & Regrow! I began the process only 9 months ago and already have amazing results I am very happy with and will continue the Hair Loss Treatment process for another year. I've just renewed my subscription for another year and can't wait to see the progression. After previous years of trying different hair re-growth programs/medications to no avail, Stop & Regrow is the only one that has worked for me, and has been working at an accelerated pace beyond my expectations.
I love Dr. Nettles program because I saw tremendous progress and results where my all of my hair grew back in a 9 month span. All I need was use specialized cream for my hair, take the pill that's designed for me, and increase my protein intake (100 grams) daily. Signing up for this program was the best decision I've ever made. Donnell
I was using Rogaine for years and it wasn’t working for me anymore; plus I noticed some side effects like wrinkles on my forehead. I found Dr. Nettles searching online and couldn’t be happier. He gave me a personalized prescription based on blood tests. My hair loss stopped and now it’s growing back!! Dr. Nettles uses science/chemistry to personalized your treatment and it really works; he actually gives a money back guarantee. Dr. Nettles and his staff (Sabrina and Tracey) are really friendly and professional. Initially I went to their California office but now I do web conferences with them to go over my progress. So far it has been an amazing experience. I highly recommend Dr. Nettles to anyone who has thinning or hair loss problems.
Dr. Nettles has not only transformed my health but has made significant strides to push the needle in patient care for doctors everywhere. His ability to show empathy while helping you the patient find the resolve to understand the goals and the end state are profound. He is approachable yet definitive and commands respect not out of fear but his ability to set himself apart as a trusted partner. I would highly recommend his practice, his expertise, and the great team that surrounds him.
Dr., Robert Nettles is the best doctor that I ever have the pleasure of working with. A gentleman with the most beautiful manners and disposition. He deserves recognition for his dedication to his patients, and because he puts his all into the work he does. He is one of the few doctors who actually cares about the patients, and he genuinely wants each and every one of his patients to be successful, He is a distinguished gentleman full of integrity, and humanity. Throughout the course of my life I have been through the ringer and as a result I lost over 70% of my hair, from the get go when I started my treatment with Doctor Nettles he held my hand and came up with a solution to help me have my hair back. It is not just the hair, but he also corrected all of my hormonal imbalances that were hindering my growth as an individual. He is a true scientist artist, as well as a humanitarian. His assistant Tracey also deserves recognition for being dedicated and for also having the most beautiful manners and disposition, which is so rare in this day and age. Another bonus is that he is non judgmental and very accepting of all. Dr. Nettles thank you for helping me get my life back, and thank you for being you. May the transformation commence!!!!!
2018-12-08: professional, compassionate doctor and staff who really care about healing people. Not a one-stop-shop. My exam, testing and treatment are in the early stages. But I’m VERY impressed with the website presentation, newsletters, follow up, and the initial contact with the patient intake. It’s rare these days: it’s been a refreshing, lovely experience thus far. And has given me hope for my specific condition and treatment. Hair loss, 53 year old, post menopausal. All of my PPO specialist said, “take biotin. it’s old age” and outright refused to take extensive blood tests. Abysmal attitude Dr. A. Nguyen and Dr. J. Suh. I begged for more tests and was told “that’s not my specialty, I can’t sign for or treat that” ... patient quality of life whether it’s cancer, hair loss or an ingrown toenail is crucial. I should know: my father is a retired medical professional. Dr. Nettles has given me hope: because he’s actually seeking to treat the cause, not just the symptom. Thank you so much. I look forward to continuing being under medical care under this doctor, his wonderful office and staff. $249+/- consultation fee; $ less any deductible owed to PPO insurance for lab-work; $150-$250 p. mo./12 mo. estimated
Very Thorough Examination. They use lab results to determine what products will work best for your hair loss. All medicines involved are FDA approved so this is a refreshingly new approach. Dr. Nettles explains things in a language you can understand and seems genuine in his desire to help you. All in all the Experience was excellent. The office staff is very accommodating also. Looking forward to a Healthier me with more hair!
Dr Nettles is a kind and well spoken man. On-top of concluding the cause of my hairloss (via blood tests), he took note of my general health and gave me pointers to improve it, tips I was surprised i hadn't heard from my doctor. With both of these combined, not only am I leaving this experience with my hair back, but with improved health. Couldn't ask or expect any better from Dr Nettles, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their health, quality of life and those who wish to regrow their hair
Dr. Robert Nettles is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He has explained to me the causes of my hair loss and customized a hair loss program tailored to my DNA. He has also given me nutritional tips on how to eat healthy. His staff are awesome! They treated me with great kindness and respect. They were also super quick at responding to my emails within hours or less. I highly recommend booking a consultation with DR. Nettles to discuss your hair loss problems. Thank you Dr. Nettles and Pam for providing an excellent service!
When I finally decided to do something about my thinning hair, I started out by researching every option. Sadly, it seemed there were more scams than legitimate ones. Lots of claims based on little to no evidence or just plain silliness. Some new ones are just recycled versions of Rogaine (minoxidil) and Propecia (finsteride), but they are only temporary and largely ineffective. Others claim they can regrow hair in weeks which is biologically impossible. Only one option stood out, the Stop and Regrow Program. It was developed by Dr. Robert Nettles and his story actually made sense: you have to stop the loss before you can really regrow the hair. I especially liked the fact that he has a pre-selection process and you have to take a blood test so that he can create a prescription tailored to your personal body chemistry. All that I read was proven true when I went to him. He and his team know their stuff. Everything is based on scientific fact and evidence. I'm only three months into the program, but the thinning seems to have stopped. What's also great is that I feel better, have more energy and I'm even sleeping better. I'm sure my hair will be coming back too.
The current FDA approved hair loss treatments were approved over 40 years ago. New medical technologies enable us to see what is causing symptoms in our bodies. It is no longer necessary to try multiple treatments one after the other in the hope of treating a symptom. Now with "science" we have the technology via precision medicine and x-ray crystallography to see individual molecules within our blood to accurately diagnose the underlying causes of symptoms such as hair fall or lack of hair growth. We can then also see the exact molecules and dosages needed to effectively treat the problem, reverse hair loss and regrow hair. Why then would we want to guess what is happening rather than find the true real cause and treat that with 100% effectiveness? My recommendation: find a doctor who can perform a biochemical report card lab tests panel. The BRC will provide a very comprehensive view of your overall health and well being as well as all the biomarkers which lead to hair loss. t also provides guidance to a biomolecular medical specialist as to which ingredients and which doses are needed.
Before jumping to treatment - diagnose the cause of your hair loss The year is 2022 not 1980. New medical technologies enable us now to see what is causing symptoms in our bodies. It is no longer necessary to try multiple treatments one after the other in the hope of treating a symptom. What I have found is that hair loss is not a disease but a symptom. Anything aimed at treating that symptom is a band-aid at best, and can cause severe problems at worst. Did you know that back when fuzzy hair growth was a side effect of oral minoxidil treatment during a clinical trial, someone "assumed" that it worked because of its vasodilation properties of increasing blood flow. Now with "science" we "know" that is not true and that minoxidil is in fact a very mild hair follicle agonist (stimulant). It unfortunately also has many problems including its requirement to be mixed with alcohol to activate it and the fact that hair follicles become dependent on it so that if you stop using it, any hair grown falls out. Since then we have also been able to develop more effective hair growth stimulants, but yoiu also need to understand that now matter how powerful the hair growth "fertilizer" unless you find and stop the underlying cause, it will not effectively reverse the problem or even hold it back for long. Today we have the technology via precision medicine and xray crystallography to see individual molecules within our blood to accurately diagnose the underlying causes of symptoms such as hair fall or lack of hair growth. Hair loss types fall primarily into 2 main buckets: acute and chronic. The acute types usually result in hairs being pushed out from mental or physical stress. Generally all hairs in a follicle are pushed out at the same time from the affected follicles. When this happens you would see under the microscope empty follicles where there are no hairs. Unfortunately your pictures are only of very small areas of your scalp so hard to determine if this has happened anywhere. Telogen Effluvium is where this happens on a large scale and many of your follicles are affected. Alopecia Areata is where this happens in small patches or circles. One of the chronic types of hair loss is Androgenetic Alopecia or Male/Female pattern hair loss. This is characterized by miniaturized hairs. I do see some of those in the pictures you posted. However, its important to remember that each hair goes through a growth cycle on average for 7-9 years, it then falls out and is replaced by a new baby hair which over time grows up to be a mature long hair. This does mean that a small percentage of your hairs will be small baby hairs at any point in time. The thing to look for is whether the hairs are miniaturizing vs growing. The other thing to consider is what is causing the hair loss. It is actually not possible to effectively treat hair loss without first treating and stopping the underlying causes. And I say "causes" because particularly for women there is generally more than one thing going on, and unless we find and treat everything going on the treatment will not be effective. My recommended approach is to seek out an accurate diagnosis from a hair regrowth expert who understands molecular biology and who will use blood tests to understand all the different factors that are contributing to your hair loss.
For any kind of surgery (or treatment), its important to understand your treatment and what you expect to occur. The first thing to understand is that a hair transplant is surgery. Your surgeon will cut holes in your scalp in to transplant your harvested hair follicles into. Know that the follicle is much larger than the hairs which you see above the surface. Each follicle is an organ which manufactures the average 5-7 hairs from each you see outside of the scalp. When that hole is cut, it will damage blood supply to the surrounding hairs in the new location and speed up hair loss for those hairs. Additionally due to the size of the whole needed you cannot plant transplanted hairs as close together as they grow naturally meaning that depending on the skill of your surgeon and the number of procedures you won't get more than about 50-60% of the density of your natural hairs in the transplant area. I note also you mention taking finasteride to prevent shock hair loss. Finasteride is an old medication which was first found to slow down hair loss around 40 years ago. It does not stimulate hair growth, it simply reduces the amount of DHT your body produces for only around 6-8 hours per day (short half life). At age 23, hair loss is in its early stages, even if yours is very aggressive. You have both youth and time on your side and you would be an ideal candidate for guaranteed hair regrowth. Rather than proceed with a transplant at this stage I highly recommend you search for and investigate hair regrowth instead. There are solutions around which can both stop your hair loss and regrow your thinning or receding hair without such a drastic irreversible procedure as surgery.
