Thank you for sharing your question.  In general most patients at six weeks are feeling much better as their tissue swelling has dramatically improved and their longer term results can be seen.  Depending on the extent of surgery you may still have some swelling present but I would be concerned about a possible fluid collection having been created. I would recommend either posting photographs or making an appointment to see your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.  In that way a true diagnosis and treatment plan can be recommended.
