Both the men’s and women’s Rogaine can be used. Men’s 5% and Women’s 2%. The men’s once a day will be just fine.

I don't see Tretinoin improving this condition, nor will Minoxidil make a substantial difference.  Yes, fine baby hairs, but not much more.  You'll need to limit the tension/traction.  Hair Restoration may also be a solution.
