I'm 21 yo , I have no problem with hair loss but i like to do prp in aim to make ma hair get longer quickly it medium so there's any harm side effects?

The concept of using PRP for cosmetic enhancement is a valid one. We have patients who come in to increase the thickness of their hair or to increase the growth rate of their hair. The treatment protocol is usually different than that of a person who is losing or has lost hair. We perform two monthly treatments and then twice a year after the initial period.

Thank you for your question. PRP may well enhance the speed with which your hair grows. To get optimal results, I would suggest 2-3 treatments spaced one month apart. Another consideration would be low level laser therapy (LLLT). LLLT promotes faster, thicker hair growth as well. I recommend using a passive device such as LaserCap, Theradome, Capillus, etc versus the laser combs as your compliance will be much higher. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
