Can I remove the hump while maintaining the overall shape of my nose? Is my nose too small? (photos)

I’m 23, never had a rhinoplasty; my nose is pretty small but the hump really bothers me, my question is: is it possible to have a rhinoplasty in wich the hump is “removed” even if it’s a little mm difference? And is it possible to mantain the overall shape of my nose? I’d also like to lift the tip a little bit, but without changing too much; was wondering if its possible to have this kind of microshaping works done in a rhinoplasty… thank you in advance!

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, minimal nose reshaping is possible with rhinoplasty. In fact, a dorsal hump is one of the most common issues the procedure can address. However, not all plastic surgeons have the necessary skill and training to refine the nasal bridge or tip and achieve natural-looking results. No matter how minimal the alteration will be, rhinoplasty is still one of the most complex plastic surgery procedures. That’s why I always recommend an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Your surgeon should be able to recommend the best options according to your facial profile and symmetry, as well as ensure the best possible outcome.

Removing the dorsal hump as well as lifting the tip of your nose are certainly possible. It is important to do your due diligence and research to find the top rhinoplasty specialists and consult with several of them in person. During your consultation, your photos can be computer-morphed to show how the changes to your nose will affect your appearance. your nose is small but long as you say. This is due to the droppy tip. The tip of the nose should be shortened in length and its rotation should be increased. Thus, the nose appears shorter. just removing the hump area is sufficient with little intervention

Is a minimal Rhinoplasty possible? A Rhinoplasty can be performed with shaving a very small bump and slightly elevating the tip. This is often referred to as a finesse rhinoplasty since the changes sought are very small, and the nose is already quite nice.
