Hello and thank you for your question. I typically recommend a 6 week wait post-operatively before applying any abrasive agents to your nasal skin. Think of surgery as traumatizing your skin from below (internally) -- if an additional "trauma" is applied from an abrasive skin care regimen (externally), the skin viability may be compromised and subsequently the overall healing of the nose would be too... I believe it is safe to start Retinol about 2 weeks after rhinoplasty when all incisions are closed and healed sufficiently. It is best to ask your surgeon and his/her staff that same question. Good luck.
