There is a broad range of physiques that will be appropriate. I would select your surgeon based upon before and after pictures, reviews, and experience.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
I appreciate your question. There are no requirements, but need to have a good amount of fat and good skin quality to transfer. You will need a medical clearance and blood work as well. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
For a BBL the patient needs to have enough donor area to get the fat for the buttock augmentation, if the patient is very thin then may not be enough fat for buttock augmentation, especially if the patient wants to have much bigger buttock size. The opposite is also true, if your BMI is above 30 then the risk for complications is higher and the results will not as good. Please have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to get an evaluation about your case.
Hi.. thank you for the question... There is not certain Weight/Height... what really matter is your fat tissue distribution, your BMI and Blood work values...
Thanks for your question. There is not really an ideal body size ratio for the BBL. Candidates for a Brazilian butt lift in Colombia include patients of all ages and sizes. Older women often want to add volume to their buttocks to counteract the effects of gravity. Younger patients may want to balance their figures or simply enhance a small derriere. You may not be a good candidate if you’re very slim with little fat to spare. However it's best to get a consultation with a board cetified plastic surgeon.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.To be a candidate for plastic surgery, in general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
There is no weight/height requirement for a Brazilian Butt Lift, but you will need a sufficient amount of fat on your body to be removed (by liposuction) and injected into the buttocks (fat grafting).Without knowing more details about your BBL goal and an examination to see where we can harvest the fat, it is hard to answer your question. I have successfully performed BBL on patients who did not think they had enough fat to get the results they were looking for without gaining weight.I know that many doctors advocate gaining weight, but this will only help if you are willing to keep it on. Remember that maintaining your weight in a comfortable range is key to keeping your results stable, whether you have a BBL or just liposuction.I recommend that you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has a lot experience performing Brazilian Butt Lifts. Make sure you get to look at their photos and see that they have been successful with others of similar build.Good luck!
Good morning! The first step is certainly to maximize your own body's ability to correct this issue- you should be exercising your gluteus muscles to build up muscle mass. Once you have plateaued in improvement and desire more, a fat transfer can be performed to give you further volume.I...
Consider that right after the BBL there is swelling in the injected area, and then the swelling goes away slowly, meaning that takes about 3 to 4 months for most of the swelling to go away, then is when the patient is going to see the final results from the surgery.Once the transferred fat to...
Hi.. thank you for the question and photos... Your goal photo is totally achievable with Mid/Low Back Liposuction, waist contour and Abdominal (stomach) Etching and BBL... you are a great candidate for this procedure...
The best position to recover from the BBL, is laying on the tummy, to avoid pressure on the injected area, where the blood supply needs to be optimal, and putting pressure on the injected area will not allow a good blood supply to the fat graft in the buttocks. Laying on the sides is another...
