My hair growth is spiky after treatment. Is there a reason, and how can I overcome it?

Hello .... I had a FUE procedure done about a year ago. I continue to feel spiky hair growth int hat area (as if it were a day old stubble) for the past 7 months. It doest grow beyond that state. Is there a reason? and how can i overcome this problem. It seems like the hair growth has been arrested of sort. Thanks

It doesn't look like 8000 hairs but photos can be deceiving.  You need to take better care of your scalp and hair.  Follow up with your doctor for a good hair wash.  Some doctors can do it for you at their office.

Transplanted hairs usually grow after 6 to 12 months.  Some lucky individuals will see full results sooner.

It is always good idea to check with your doctor.  The Internet will give you conflicting information.  At 6 months, you can use whatever hair product you want.

If you have a hair transplant surgery it can help but it may be full enough when you shave the area.  You may need more than one surgery.  If you are not going to grow a beard and want a close shave, Scalp MicroPigmentation (SMP) can help. A combination of both would be ideal.

Neograft is just an instrument used to take out the hair grafts using the FUE technique.  It is not a type of surgery.You will lose your transplanted hair as well as some of your native hair weeks after surgery. You may look worse before it starts to look better. It may take 6 to 12 months...

If your infection is treated your donor area will heal eventually.  How it may look after it has healed is anyone's guess.
