Theprice for a bonded filling is usually based on the number of surfaces. Fromyour photo, I would say that is a 4 surface fracture and would probably bearound $200, maybe a little more, in my practice. Fees vary depending on whereyou live, and a photo doesn’t always tell the entire story, so this is only a guess.
Hi Glenn ....this is just a little more than a chip in the tooth. It more like a fracture. The tooth can be bonded which is the least expensive way to go for you first. You need to see a good cosmetic dentist who has lots of experience bonding teeth. This will take time and good preparation and you need to be very careful when biting down on hard things. Bonding is tricky and if done well and taken care of, it should last. If not you can go to a crown or a veneer but these are considerably more expensive procedures and requires tooth reduction. Try the bonding first and good luck!
As with all things, there are many ways to fix a front tooth.Dentists around the nation charge differently depending on where you are located. The nation average for a filling is based on surfaces for all teeth. Consider that front teeth will be a little bit more of an investment then back teeth.Per picture, it appears as if this is a 3 surface filling with ranges from $125 to $225, once again this is based on your geographical area.A tooth colored filling, matching your original tooth will be placed with local anesthetic. The will change color over time and will require replacement.Very good question!!!
The photo shows what is considered a fracture, and not a little chip. To fix will require careful planning and proper bonding principles to get it to stay, but a porcelain veneer will last much longer.
It is great that you are in recovery and a FORMER drug user. However, damage done to teeth won't heal spontaneously, so it is likely that much repair work is needed. Sometimes it is too late by the time a dentist can help and dentures/implants need to be considered.Seek the advice of...
Normally during orthodontics, not much can/should be done. In this case, the braces likely prevented WORSE damage. However, the chipped part needs fixing. Tips of teeth are hard to fix (will likely break off easily) so be patient. After the braces are off, veneers or crowns can...
Hi from Richmond Hill! I would take the easy way out and just leave the tooth alone. No one really sees this but you. Doing a crown or Veneer and taking the tooth down would not be necessary and you loose most of your natural tooth. Just be careful and try not to bang any fork...
