Hi from Richmond Hill!  I would take the easy way out and just leave the tooth alone. No one really sees this but you.  Doing a crown  or Veneer and taking the tooth down would not be necessary and you loose most of your natural tooth. Just be careful and try not to bang any fork...

A chip is most often fixed with a filling, at worst a veneer or crown.  Since it doesn't hurt, the nerve likely isn't involved which would require a root canal.  When teeth get fixed before they hurt, it costs less to fix.
