Tooth Repair Q&A

I had a root canal on a front tooth due to trauma. The endodontist placed a temporary filling, and the tooth seemed fine despite slight discoloration. My dentist later restored it without a crown, using composite and internal bleaching. However, the root canal hole is now visible from the front, which wasnt an issue before. My dentist agrees but doesnt want to intervene further, suggesting I wait. Why did the final restoration cause this, and what are my best options to fix it?

Have you ever heard of tooth shaving causing a patients tongue to move changing their pallet, therefore causing teeth to shift?

Im 22 and have never had issues with my front teeth before. The past six months or so Ive noticed my front tooth has had some chipping in the enamel and some increased sensitivity. My dentist said the tooth looks fine and isnt an issue. My wisdom teeth have pushed through on my lower jaw now and Ive noticed that my lower tooth that pushes forward most has got a strange dent in it now? Is this something serious? None of my other teeth have this, just this one and Im a bit worried!

Afterwards my gum and tooth started to ache up until the day that my tooth came out of my gum as I was eating some food. Do I have to get surgery or a root canal extraction?

My front tooth accidentally got broken diagonally by my brother long ago. My front top and bottom teeth have always had gaps too but I am currently doing aligners to fix the bottom. They did it 3 times before they got the color right but its WAY too thick/bulky looking and I hate it. They filled in the gap with the crown so it is not even looking. Once my aligners are done I'm not sure if I should get a new crown on the one tooth, both front teeth or veneers? Hopefully I can add photos..
