Thank you for your question. Antihistamines would not interact with the longevity of Botox. Best regards
Benadryl antihistamine does not affect the effectiveness or duration of Botox. There should be no concern that you will have a negative consequence having had Botox should you take Benadryl in the evening to help you sleep.
I'm not aware of any relationship between benadryl and Botox - the medications work on different systems and are metabolized with different physiologic pathways.
You can continue taking benadry since it has no effect on your botox results or its longevity.
Thank you for your question, Botox results last up to 3-4 months, there is no correlation between Benadryl affecting the longevity of Botox. I hope this was helpful. Best, Dr. Emer.
Taking Benadryl will not impact your Botox treatment or longevity. Botox wears off gradually over three to four months on average. I've included a video about neuromodulators that I hope you find helpful.

Pharmacologically speaking these two medications (while both affect the nervous system) are operating on a completely different targets within the nervous system. So by all available written literature, there should be no cross effect between the two drugs. However, and as we have been surprised before, in order to completely exclude that you need to have a formal double blinded study with statistically acceptable results to formally say that these two drugs do not interact with each others.
Botox is a fabulous injection but Benadryl has absolutely no effect on Botox or its longevity. Botox will last approximately 4 months and no medication that you take will have any effect on it. Best, Dr. Green
Hello. I have never heard of Benedryl affecting the longevity of neurotoxins. Maybe you need to increase the dosage you are receiving. That can prolong the longevity.
At two weeks post injection you see your final results. It is not likely that the Botox would migrate after that time. The changes you're noticing may be from the effects of your cold. I hope you feel better soon.
I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. This is likely not nerve damage, but is an untoward effect from the Botox injections. The product effects will gradually wear off and your animation, including your smile, will return to normal. I've included a video on how neuromodulators...
It is possible, though rare, that a nerve could be hit during Botox injections. It's best for you to return to your injector for an evaluation. If this is what occurred it's not likely to cause permanent damage.
