Getting abdominal and flanks lipo with bbl Next month. Having a hard time deciding what is the best shape for my nody type? Are the pictures below unrealistic for my body type?
Answer: BODY SHAPE AND SURGERY Your body frame is wider on the upper half and narrow in the lower half, and the photos of your goal are the opposite, it is unrealistic to expect a result like those photos as the surgery cannot make the hip bone much wider or reduce the size of the rib cage. You can expect a better balance on your body shape, by reducing the fat deposits on the abdomen, waist and back and getting the fat transferred to the buttocks and hip area, the goal will be to obtain as much roundness on your buttock and hips.

Answer: Am I a better candidate for a upside down heart shape or round bubble but? Based on the single photo posted, you have a "V" shaped buttock. This is the most challenging shape to correct. You do have lots of fat that can be used, but in your case, not all can be placed and expect to survive. You have small gluteus muscles, so it will not accept a lot of fat, and thin fat layer over them. You will need at least two sessions to correct this for you. Your underlying muscular and skeletal anatomy are not similar to your wish pictures. You will not get those results. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

Answer: Realistic expectations You have to acknowledge that results are more related to your own body frame of bone and muscles which will determine the shape and how much fat we may transfer, specially on certain areas where the muscle is not very thick, as is the bottom of the butt. So creating a more curvaceous frame first, as a foundation, will be key in your case, and that will be a smaller waist and wider hips. Dr. Cardenas

Answer: Am I a better candidate for a upside down heart shape or round bubble but? (photos) Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for liposuction with a BBL and a tummy tuck, to give you a nice tight tummy and to get rid of the extra skin, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your waist, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a beautiful heart shape, along with the tummy tuck. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: Getting the shape you want Unfortunately the pictures you have shown are not realistic. It would be very helpful for you to sit down with your plastic surgeon and have an honest discussion about what is realistic. Those pictures are not.I don't know if even choosing one type of shape over the other is appropriate. if your plastic surgeon is talented and he will use his or her skills to make you look the best that they can with what they have to work with. Setting expectations correctly from the beginning is a critical part of maintaining high patient satisfaction.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
