I have ripples on my eyelid and above after Botox. What can I do to correct the issue? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  If botox is placed too low along the lower eyelid-cheek region it may migrate to some of the muscles responsible for lifting the corners of your lips and can affect your smile.  As far as the lines along your eyelid this may be a case of partial activation of the muscle responsible for tightly closing your eye.  If you only recently had the injections I would allow at 10-14 days to pass to see if this resolves on its own, but if it does not, see your injector for an in-person exam to see if the eyelid wrinkles would benefit from additional botox.  Hope this helps.

Typically, 3 muscle groups are treated with Botox. Glabella (the 11's between your brows), the Frontalis (the horizontal wrinkles across your forehead), and the O.Oculi (crows feet). With injection of Botox or Dysport into these muscle group, they should become weakened or paralyzed within 14 days. An undesired effect may take place if the product migrates to another muscle group, or if not enough or too much is injected. You should be able to see the full result within 14 days, and it shouldn't last longer than 4-6 months. You still have muscle movement so a small amount of Botox can help relax those muscles and smooth the area.
