This is after Botox at crows feet, forehead and fillers in eye trough above cheek after 14 days. I have never had this happen and I have had both done many times. This is after $2700 and was told indentation was because my $3000 budget didn't allow for more filler! Also filler in my mariotte area that has bumps and still have lines and a huge chin. Also now have wrinkles on my nose that were not there before. Please help me understand why and what can be done.
Answer: Why do I have an indentation/shelf above my cheek, under my eyes at crow’s feet area after Botox and filler? Thank you for your question and thank you for your photos. Without knowing what your crow’s feet area looked like prior to the Botox injections, it is difficult for me to comment on the result. Bumps in the marionette area could possibly be resolved by massaging those areas or injecting hyaluronidase to dissolve the bumps. The wrinkles on your nose that were not there before neurotoxin injection, may be due to injections meant to correct frown lines. I recommend that you consult with a certified injector who is able to educate you with risks and benefits of Botox and filler injections. I wish you the best of luck.

Answer: Why do I have an indentation/shelf above my cheek and under my eyes? Thank you for your question and photographs and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated. Though I see an overall improvement from your before to after pictures, I can also see this shelf to which you are referring. Feeling this area would allow diagnosis as to the cause - likely filler placement that was not feathered towards the corners of the eyes - but at 14 days I would recommend reaching out to your injector to voice your concerns and discuss options. Ultimately he/she wants you to be happy and should be able to work with you.

Answer: Why do I have an indentation/shelf above my cheek under my eyes at crows feet area after Botox and fillers? Thanks for your question and thanks for the photos – they help here a lot. We always recommend that you have your injections performed in offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons as we know the most about the anatomy of the areas, the products, and the proper techniques that should minimize any untoward effects. The part of your question that concerns me the most is that the provider insinuated that you did not spend enough money for them to do more of what they did – which may have screwed up things even more. It appears that the filler was not placed in the proper plane or that the wrong filler was used in the area – which could have been minimized by having someone doing this very skilled in the procedure and not worried solely about your money. I guess that part really bothered me. I would find another provider, let them examine you and what was done, and offer suggestions, even using hyaluronidase if needed to reverse what the filler seems to have done. But also remember, that you have toxin on board and that will change things as it does its part on what was injected. So best of luck and I think you need a new provider.
