If I already have infraorbital implants, will this impede the ability to have a Le Fort 1 as part of double jaw surgery? I can see the procedure needs to be fixed with plates that extend into the midface, so was unsure if the implants would get in the way. I also see there are different types of of plates that don’t necessarily extend far into the mid face, however. Many thanks!

The position of the the upper jaw affects the exposure of the upper teeth. So one can raise or lower it to alter the smile and 'show' of the upper teeth.
