Am I a good Lip Lift Candidate? (Photo)

Question

Hello! I am a 28 year old woman considering on getting a lip lift. I do not like my rather 'large' philtrum (too much distance between my lip and nose.) I've been turned down by surgeons saying I am not a good candidate but have recently found another surgeon telling me a combined procedure would fit me (Bullhorn+Direct Lip Lift+Corner Lift). Am I a good candidate for lip lift? I would like to have a shorter philtrum and fuller lips. I have never had surgery or fillers. Sincerely

Yes, you are a candidate for a lip lift. I would not recommend a corner lift at the same time. However, the corner lift will leave a scar that is highly visible. You are would be better off with an extension of the traditional lip lift with more skin removed laterally then centrally to pull up the corners without using an external visible scar.

Microdroplets of Botox and low viscosity, cohesive, malleable HA fillers have been used to achieve a nonsurgical lip lift and a more defined vermilion border. Still another higher viscosity HA filler can be used to enhance the body of the lip to create a more sensual pout. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
