How can I narrow down my too wide hip bones? (Photo)

Question

I am a 22 year old female. My hip bones are far too wide, and I want to fix them. It seems they’ve widened over the past few years since I got an IUD, I’ve heard it can grow the hip bones. When I touch my hips it’s clear the bones are far below my skin and that the problem is not fat but the bone. The top of each hip bone protrudes (I’ve always had a boxy hip shape but now I have an extremely pear like shape regardless of the fact that I’m slim overall). How can I fix the bone?

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, liposuction is a great option for body contouring. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

While a portion of the outer iliac crest can be removed, the question is whether that would produce enough reduction to justify the effort. To qualify that answer better pictures of your actual hips would be needed with some imaging done.

You can’t really have your bone structure changed. It’s possible to manipulate your fat distribution which can help create better contours with the use of liposuction and fat transfer such as the BBL procedure.For people with skin laxity, loose skin may also contribute significantly to contour.I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with the BBL procedure in your area.
