I am 45 years old and got filler for the first time two weeks ago. I assumed the doctor was using Voluma or Lyft. After it was done said she didn't like the cross-linked HAs because they occasionally caused nodules and she used Juvederm Ultra. I have never heard of Ulta being used in the mid-face. After nearly 2 weeks I can still feel it as hard threads under my skin, and I didn't get the effect I wanted. I'm not sure what to do -- get more Ultra? Get it removed and then get Voluma?

Your plastic surgery may be able to help you with this concern. There is a medication that can help dissolve the juvaderm. Your injector can help assess the concern and offer treatment options. Always go to a board certified plastic surgeon for your cosmetic needs. Good luck!
Thank you for your question! I would contact your treating physician if one side is a little lumpy and massage it gently until you return to the office. Juvederm is a fantastic treatment for the nasolabial fold and for the lower face as well. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question! This could be due to placement or the initial swelling that is typical after lip injections, which will resolve in 1-2 weeks. I recommend following up with your injector. Best of luck!
