I had Juvederm injected 10 days into my lips. I’m not very happy with the results. I feel like my top lip was over injected (my lips were very small to start with) so now my top lip protrudes over my bottom lip, “ducky”. Also, it looks like the filler was placed outside of my borders. I’m just not happy. Am I freaking myself out? Or do they look decent? Not sure why do to.

Answer: Thoughts on my lip filler? From the photos you provided, I actually think your injector did a very nice job. If you are not happy, your best option is to discuss your concerns with the person who actually performed the procedure. But as an experienced injector, I would say that your result looks very nice!I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,-Gregory A Buford MD FACS PCEOBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and AuthorCertified Allergan National MASTER Facial Injectables Trainer

Answer: Swelling Dear ssmith418, Juvederm has significant swelling post injection. I would follow up with you plastic surgeon but typically I tell all my patients to wait a full two weeks. Generally at 2 weeks they are happy and glad they didn't dissolve. Dissolving is unpredictable as well.
