Should I get ptosis surgery or rhinoplasty, and which should be done first? (photos)

Your face and eyelids will swell with the rhinoplasty.  Persistent swelling in the upper eyelid had the potential to make the upper eyelid ptosis worse.  For this reason, I strongly recommend getting the rhinoplasty first.  The eyelid surgery should not be done early than 6 to 12 months after the rhinoplasty to allow resolution of the swelling.

can leave you with a result that still shows some asymmetry so be cautious before jumping on the surgery bandwagon to have the eye lid done.  I would suggest you simply wait on that until it becomes much more noticeable so that the results will be more easily appreciated and you may be happier in the end.

It really doesn't matter which comes first, the ptosis repair or the rhinoplasty. Seek out a very experienced oculoplastic surgeon for the ptosis repair. To repair  a crooked nose, medial and lateral osteotomies can be performed to straighten the nose. Occasionally, a spreader graft composed of the patient's own cartilage is inserted underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage.
