Can I get a chemical peel on my face and fat transfer to my cheeks and lips on the same time?

I have sun spots all over my face, wrinkles that a chemical peel may help. But I have lost weight I'm 45 years old, have laight lines and thinning lips that a fat transfer may help. Due to the "down time" I'm wondering if its safe and effective to do both procedures together?

A chemical peel can be done at the same time as most other facial procedures. This would include fat grafting, facelift, brow and eye lifts. Only a Rhinoplasty would be an issue due to the bandages taped to the face.

We frequently perform these procedures in the same time. In hands of an experienced surgeon you should have all benefits of single stage multiple procedures like single recovery time and one anesthesia in particular. You should discuss this issue with your surgeon in more details including possible complications. Good luck.

You can safely have both a chemical peel and fat injections on the same day. Chemical peels will not disturb the blood vessels that supply the skin with nutrients and neither will the cannulas used during fat transfers. Some providers (myself included) will not do resurfacing procedures to areas that have been dissected like during a facelifting procedure. The dissection does disturb the blood vessels beneath the skin and the resurfacing (chemical peel/laser) can put to much stress on the skin and increase the risk of the skin dying. If you are not having a lifting procedure at the same time, than the chemical peel and the fat transfer can both be done safely. I hope this helps, good luck!!
