I am interested in doing the Axillary Breast Removal procedure and was wondering if that would also help lift the breast? Or would that be a separate procedure?
Answer: Breast lift Dear Reliable809767, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Axillary breast removal will not lift the breasts. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Would an Axillary Breast Removal procedure also help lift the breast? Recommend that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine if liposuction might improve the situation or if a direct excision is needed. The armpit procedure can be combined with a breast lift.

Answer: Axillary breast removal Accessory axillary breast tissue is pretty common. Axillary breast tissue can either be removed with direct excision or at times with liposuction; it does not lift the breast. A breast lift is a separate cosmetic procedure. The two procedures may be performed at the same time in appropriate candidates.

Answer: Remove axillary breast tissue at the time of lift Axillary tissue removal will not lift the breast. Routinely at the time of breast lift or reduction, I dissect and remove this area for cosmetic reasons. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: What to expected Axilary Breast tissue resection will not have any impact on your breast. If your breast is saggy and need a lift, that must be done and of course it can be done at the same time of the axillary gland resection. Be encouraged!! Dr. Cardenas
