Having breakouts after using a new sonic facial brush (using lowest cycle and brush)

Thank you for your question! The breakouts that you are experiencing could be caused from the facial brush due to not properly cleaning after use. Since the breakouts are occurring near your hairline it could also be due to not washing your shampoo/conditioner out completely. Electric skin brushes (like clarisonic and others) are very popular for exfoliation. I believe these brushes spread bacteria around your face and contribute to acne. I've asked many patients, and no one seems to ever clean or replace the head. There are much better ways to exfoliate. Consider a really good glycolic cleanser.
