Is there a filler that can lift the vermillion border on the upper lip?

I would recommend Belotero, Juvederm Ultra or Restylane for the desired effect. Lips are one of the trickiest areas to inject so be sure to find a dermatologist that has lots of experience.

I believe the best way to accentuate the vermilion border, in my opinion, is to use bel otero or the new fda filler approved for lips, restyling silk.

Generally the softer fillers are better for the lip. Belotero, Juvederm ultra or  Restylane SilkSeek an Expert Injector with a good track record and good before and afters. The answer is not in the filler choice of which any number would be fine to use. Juvederm Ultra, restylane silk, belotero, perlane are just a few that would be excellent to use. The real concern here is the surgical injector ( doctor ) that is doing the work. Quality injectable (fillers) work is not anywhere as easy as many think. The ability to solve a patients concerns and get a natural  looking result takes both experience and real artistry. You can enhance the vermillion border and not add fullness to the body of the lip, or cause the lip to protrude too much....but it takes both experience and a good eye from the surgeon.  Have the surgeon show you examples of his work, and even before and afters of his other surgical procedures to get the confidence that he is the right person for the job.

A number of fillers will accomplish what you desire. However, as Dr. Rueck said, it is not the filler but the injector. Use of blunt canulas rather than sharp needles also helps, again the injector. Make sure whomever you choose is an expert injector and very experienced in use of fillers.

yes, it is reasonable and indeed preferable in many many cases. Using most fillers would work but the use of Bellafil or Artefil provides long lasting vermillion border definition where the 'pencil line' of makeup would go. Talk to the surgeon.
